The mother of a famed songstress recently celebrated a birthday with her famous daughter by her side. Marilyn Best, Monica Brown’s incredibly youthful looking mother, turned 61-years-old Tuesday and was treated to a surprise party at Atlanta’s Aria restaurant. Also on hand; Monica’s blood cousin, rapper Ludacris as well as her two sons, Rocko and Romello.
Best was treated to an intricate birthday cake and showered with gifts from her daughter. Brown’s professional ball playing husband, Shannon Brown, was not photographed at this week’s affair.
