Vanessa Bryant Says She Didn’t Have Surgery for Kobe
After pictures of her surfaced looking drastically different, a championship baller’s wife is denying reports that she had surgery for her husband’s benefit. Vanessa Bryant, the wife of Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant, was spotted at the 2012 Olympic games sporting a dramatic new look.
Spectators noted that the mother of two’s lips looked noticeably fuller, her face looked tight and pulled back and her nose appeared much sharper. Following that, rumors swirled that the new look was an attempt to keep her husband, a serial cheater, from straying.
“She started freaking out over a few crow’s feet, and the next thing you know she was getting a full facial makeover,” a source told the National Enquirer. “She is extremely insecure. She’d do anything to keep Kobe happy.'” Since the tabloid’s report was been released, reps for Vanessa have been adamant that the allegations are “100 percent not true” and “ridiculous.” What is 100 percent true, however, is that Ms. Bryant has seen at least one plastic surgeon’s office over the years, so much so that she’s starting to look like a Kardashian.
In addition to making headlines for her plastic surgery results, Vanessa recently gave an interview to New York Magazine explaining that she’s proud to be married to a winner. “I certainly would not want to be married to somebody that can’t win championships,” she told the publication. “If you’re sacrificing time away from my family and myself for the benefit of winning championships, then winning a championship should happen every single year,” she added.
After being blasted for the quote, Vanessa released a statement saying that her words were being “misconstrued” and “taken out of context. Right.
