The Business Trip: A Passport to Cheat? New Study Says Yes!
Women are more likely to stray on the business trip according to a new study by ON24 a webcasting and virtual events company. Posed by a professional model.

Ladies, before you give your traveling husband the side-eye when he packs for his next business trip, you should know that women are more likely to cheat on trips according to the study:

“Interestingly, women were more likely to indicate the possibility of an increased probability of affairs than men (48% vs. 42%).”

Also, you don’t have to journey far from home to have a fling, as the workplace is the most common place for spouses to cheat. The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) calls the office hookup a “crisis:”

“A new crisis of infidelity is emerging in which people who never intended to be unfaithful are unwittingly crossing the line from platonic friendships into romantic relationships, particularly in the workplace and on the Internet.”

The silver lining, according to the AAMFT, is that physical hook-ups don’t typically destroy a solid marriage, unless a deeper connection was established: “combined-type affairs in which extramarital intercourse occurs within a deep emotional attachment usually have the most disruptive impact.”
