Georgia Funeral Shooting
A funeral in June 2012 at a DeKalb County, Ga., church left two people, besides the decedent, dead this summer. At the home-going service for 19-year-old Ryan Devon Guider at Victory For the World Church,a witness told authorities that “gunshots went off everywhere and people were just running and falling” when a shootout began. Police believe that Marcus Ventress, the suspect in Guider’s death, appeared at the church which instigated a fight and subsequent shooting. Ventress and another man were killed.
