Some of other calls Smukler received Tuesday morning:
1. South Florida: There are waits of over an hour and a half in Miami.
2. Cuyahoga County, Ohio (Cleveland): Abraham Elementary School (suburban Maple Heights, Ohio). “You’re going to like this, Tom Joyner. The pins that they are giving out to fill out their ballots are blue. What do you think the color that you need to have to fill them out are?” Smukler asks rhetorically. “The pins have to be black. They said the black pens ran out of ink. You can’t make this (stuff) up.”
3. Hampton, Va. “There’s trickery at the polls in Hampton, Va.,” Smukler reports. “They all have the Democratic orange buttons. We’re not sure what that means, but we’re going to track it down.”
4. In Martin County, Fla.: “Many of the absentee ballots did not have signature lines,” Smukle said. “You need a place where it says it is you. Oh, no, not in Martin County,” he added as the TJMS crew broke up in laughter.
5. South Carolina: “There’s trickery in South Carolina. They are telling people to vote on the ballot and for the president separately. But (the voters) are worried that if they vote twice, their votes will be counted out.”
