Delvonte Tisdale, 16, was homesick. He ran away from home on Nov. 14, 2010, because he was unhappy with his new home in Charlotte, N.C.; he preferred to move back to Baltimore. Taking his living situation into his own hands, he decided to hitch a ride aboard a Boeing 777 departing from the Charlotte-Douglas International Airport. US Airways Flight 1176 was headed to Boston. The flight crew was unaware that they had a stowaway in the wheel well.
