James was the beloved star guard for the NBA’s Cleveland Cavaliers, taking the fledgling franchise to its one and only NBA championship series in 2008, until he left for Miami as a free agent in 2010. He also played on the 2004 U.S. Olympic team in Athens, and on the U.S. team at the 2006 World Championships.
