Singer and actress Naturi Naughton is an East Orange, NJ native. Formerly a member of the singing group 3LW as a teenager, she’s witnessed success in Hollywood beyond her wildest dreams. Naughton has played memorable roles in Fame, Notorious and Lottery Ticket. A series regular on NBC’s “The Playboy Club,” she has a recurring role on Lifetime’s “The Client List,” she has been featured in “Mad Men” and “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.” Playing a principle character on Tony Award-winning Broadway musical Hairspray for three years as “Lil Inez,” she’s remained humbled. Naughton was recently bestowed the 2011 “Rising Icon” award at the American Black Film Festival. The young star can be seen in the upcoming film Let the Church Say Amen. Naughton was an honoree at the Mirror Mirror Awards in Los Angeles on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012 at Rolling Stone Los Angeles Restaurant & Lounge.
