Recently signed Def Jam recording artist Trinidad James visited Chicago on Christmas Eve. He stopped by the Complex 2010 recording studio to meet with media and chat with future recording artists about his new record deal and why he sings controversial music. “I say something and people will run with it. I don’t make them do it … they choose to repeat it so much that it becomes a trend. It’s just music and people need to understand its part of the game,” noted Trinidad James. We ran into Swank Publishing recording clients, The Boy Illinois and Ben Official, who stopped by to meet Trinidad James. “It’s nice to be invited out to meet popular recording artists and get tips,” noted Boy Illinois.
