Katt Williams has been getting in fights with the fans, the police and even Target employees over the past few months. And now the troubled comedian has decided to pick a fight with filmmaker Quentin Tarantino over his controversial film, Django Unchained.
During a recent interview with TMZ, Williams was asked how he felt about Tarantino’s use of the N-word in Django and Williams responded by threatening to punch Tarantino in the face.
“Quentin Tarantino thinks he can say the N-word. But I checked with all of Ni**adom and nobody knows where he got his pass from,” Williams said calmly. “I hope he didn’t get it from Samuel L. Jackson and Jamie Foxx cause they aren’t going to help you when I see you.”
When the TMZ photographer compared the negative criticism of Django to the more positive reaction about Steven Spielberg’s 1997 slavery film, Amistad, Williams claimed that Tarantino isn’t even in the same league of filmmaking as Spielberg.
“Quentin Tarantino is no Steven Spielberg. Steven Spielberg doesn’t wanna be black, Quentin Tarantino thinks he is. So when he meets a real ni**a, we’ll see if he is or not,” Tarantino said.
Tarantino wasn’t the only one that Williams blasted. Last week, Williams slammed Foxx for acting in the main role of Django.
“Who’s gay? Jamie Foxx,” said the comedian. “I can even tell you the name of the dude he f**ked. His name is Marcus Anthony; he’s the only dude signed to Jamie Foxx’s label,” Williams said while performing in Los Angeles. “They offered me the script and I said any n*gga that does this deserves to die…and the next thing I heard Jamie Foxx was in make-up.”
