Though they would go on to much bigger success as a trio in the 2000s, D.C. was originally a quartet from Houston, and they closed out the decade on quite a run. Breaking through in 1998, with a hit remix to their single “No, No, No;” the group’s second album, The Writing’s On the Wall was a smash. It sold eight million copies and featured four top 10 singles.
