“Faith in America’s Future” is the official theme for the 2013 inauguration. It will be held on Jan. 21, 2013, in Washington, D.C. The week of festivities will including the presidential swearing-in ceremony, inaugural address, inaugural parade and several inaugural balls and galas honoring the re-elected president of the United States.
The 2008 inauguration drew nearly 2 million to the nation’s capital, so it’s best to plan events, transportation and lodging in advance.
