Twin sisters killed during brawl

Witness talks to a local station in Los Angeles about the fight.

In Los Angeles, twins sisters Tanisha and Tamaya Davis, 31, were fighting outside their home early Sunday morning when one sister grabbed the other by the hair and dragged her into the street.

According to witnesses, the 3 a.m. fight then took a terrible turn when a truck struck and killed them.

Los Angeles police said the fight occurred near Leimert Park, and that the vehicle that struck the sisters did not stop.

Both women were declared dead at the scene.

Officials have not released photos of the women at this time; the Los Angeles County coroner’s officials have identified the pair.
