Joe’s drug relapse
Joe pays a visit to his mother and, sadly, reveals that he relapsed on drugs the day of the pool party. Joe was sober for 14 years, but reveals that he began relapsing recently when he was on the road, starting with pills and “some other things.” “I was away from any type of support system,” he said, teary eyed. Joe’s mother is deeply concerned for her son and explains to him that he has a strong support system and that he needs to get help for his drug addiction.
