Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas spoke to talk show host Wendy Williams about her famous ex-boyfriend, fellow R&B star Usher. The ex-TLC member shared her perspective on their breakup and scoffed at any notion that they could get back together at this point.
“We’re friends. We did have a good relationship,” she said. “As [with] every relationship, you have your issues but I kind of think it was the wrong timing.”
Usher famously mocked Chilli a few years ago after she revealed that she still loved him. But it looks like that “one-that-got-away” vibe has faded for Thomas, as she dismissed the idea that she’s still in love with him now.
“I think somebody needs to give me a cold pop!” she said jokingly when Williams asked if they could reconcile. “Ain’t nobody got time for that.”
