‘Love & Hip Hop’s’ Consequence: Celebrities with bad veneers

'Love & Hip Hop's' Consequence: Celebrities with bad veneers
Consequence says he will get a new smile, thanks to VH1 and “Love & Hip Hop.”

Veneers, the cosmetic porcelain tooth covers designed to transform damaged or crooked teeth, are a godsend when they are the right size.

Some celebrities have committed the cosmetic mistake of pasting on veneers that are just too big for their smile, however, and the end result is a horsey overbite.

“I’ve noticed an annoying trend. Rather than go the Tom Cruise or Gwen Stefani route and put up with braces for a while, a lot of actors and actresses opt for the quick fix and get clunky veneers clipped onto their seemingly unacceptable teeth. The result is a row of teeth that looks too big and thick for the celebrity’s mouth, which creates a horsey overbite …” notes blogger Rebecca Kelley of This or That.

The horsey overbite is definitely unbecoming, and reality star Consequence of VH1s “Love & Hip Hop,” says that he plans on getting his grill fixed.

“Listen, when I’m done with VH1 they’re going to knock this whole front row out and put diamonds in. Straight up,” Consequence told Power 105.1 recently.

Good for you, Consequence, although he’s not the only celebrity who has been accused of having a horsey overbite. Take a look.
