All seemed well between Joe Budden and Consequence after an awkward confrontation between the two during a Hot 97 interview last month. But, apparently, the two of them still had some unresolved animosity towards as each other as both of them, as well as their co-star Tahiry, got into a brawl during filming for the “Love & Hip Hop” reunion.
News of the fight spread last night after Consequence announced on Twitter that he’d punched Joey in the face.
“Just Smacked The SH– outta @JoeBudden at the #LHHReunion Everybody have a Nice Day…. #QueensAllDay,” Cons claimed.
Shirtly afterwards, Budden also took to Twitter and confirmed Cons’ claims.
“During break Tahiry & I were headed outside to smoke.. Dude came behind, jumped & hit me as I’m walking away, Tahiry snuffs him, he runs …,” wrote Joey. “It was the most p—y display ever seen from a n—a to be quite honest… & it’s all on tape, so y’all can see the p—y s–t 4 yourself.”
While on break from filming, Joey called in to Hot 97 and shared details about the fight with Angie Martinez. Joey explained that he had no injuries, but claimed that things were far from over. The Slaughterhouse rapper explained that producers were working to get him and Cons to confront each other on camera. However, Joey claimed he wanted to settle things off camera with a one-on-one fight.
“I think they’re trying to get me and him on the stage now to see what his issue is, but I’m not gonna do nothing but invite him in the bathroom,” wrote Joey.
And as he expected, the rappers did indeed get into a fight when they were brought together again. After shooting wrapped, both emcees tweeted at each other about the fight.
“Yo @ItsTheCons u good or nah ?” wrote Joey. “Hope son ight, I was headed home & seen dude talking to police while Jen was crying.. #QueensAllDay tho.”
“Cons you pressing charges??? Absolutely Not!!!” Cons replied. “Actually I laughed at that s–t!!!”
“@ItsTheCons take a picture, n—as wanna look at u,”wrote Joey. “Dude was so quick to tweet about that sucka punch…… not so much now.”
“@JoeBudden Y’all hit like b—–s #straightlikethatActually Tahiry hit me harder n—a. I told the Police that I don’t press charges,” Cons responded.
