Rapper Wiz Khalifa has reportedly signed a new deal with Converse. The specifics are as of yet unknown, but the Pittsburgh-born rhymer famous for his “Taylor Gang” crew and brand hopped on Twitter to rave about something that he has brewing with the world-famous sneaker and athletic wear company.
“FInally got my converse deal!!! Im f—in amped! I did an add for my boys but this sh-t here is MAJOR,” he tweeted.
As of yet, nothing else about the deal has been disclosed to the public, but Wiz’s famous affinity for the brand led to his naming his label and collective of fellow hip-hop stars (which includes ingenue Lola Monroe and Dirty South vet Juicy J) after Converse’s iconic “Chuck Taylors.”
