Don Lemon
Although many in the industry already knew that Don Lemon was gay, he became the first CNN news anchor to acknowledge his sexuality in 2011, when he came out in his memoir, Transparent, which discusses racism and homophobia in the black community. Before hostin CNN Newsroom, Lemon served as a reporter for NBC and MSNBC.
