Exercises that reduce cellulite

squats

Squats:

Squats target the leg muscles which include the hamstrings, quadriceps and lower leg muscles and also the gluteus maximus, the erector spine and abdominal muscles. Squats not only burn calories but the muscles it build burn more calories which result to weight loss. Toning the muscles as well as reducing the fat will minimize the look of cellulite.

How to: Stand up straight and bend knees until the thighs are parallel to the floor. Let your back remain straight while pushing your glutes backward as if you are going to sit on a chair. With the use of your leg muscles, slowly go back to standing position. Squats can be performed with or without dumbbells or barbells to increase its effectiveness. Perform 3 sets of 10-15 squats at least three times a week.
