Tyler Perry on Kim Kardashian, married cheaters, and his next multimillion-dollar project

There is a line where Harley [Robbie Jones] says, “It’s sad that you can buy whatever want, but have to beg for what you need.” You come from a place where you can buy whatever you want. How do you stay grounded to where you don’t fall into temptation?
I borrowed that line from T.D. Jakes. I told him that I would use it. I’m 43. I’m grateful that I got my success in my 30s rather than my 20s. I’d be a much different person. I feel sorry for a lot of these young people coming up with the fame and millions in their bank account. That’s why I used a younger group. There are so many young people, not just rich, who are thrown off by a situation. I always had base of faith and believed in God. Being over 40, I’m settled into it.
