Tyshekka Collier, 36, was fired up when she went to Fairforest Middle School in Spartanburg County, South Carolina. She was a little too wound up and mistook another student for her son and slapped an innocent young boy. He was in the office because he was ill, resting with his head down and waiting to go home when he was assaulted. The principal, Ty Dawkins, gave an account to the media.
Collier apologized as soon as she realized her mistake. But once she saw her own son, she went to swinging again. Her son was slapped across the face and head, before falling to the ground.
Collier was charged with disturbing school and assault and battery and her three children were taken to protective custody.
