Michael Phelps — The man who won more gold medals than any person in the history of the Olympics was ridiculed for having big ears, gangly form and abnormally long arms. Funny how those very attributes propelled him to worldwide fame and into the history books. His high school swimming coach at the time told reporters that he would “flip the script” on the torment and used it as motivation to win in swimming.
