India Arie denies bleaching rumors
After being blasted by fans who believed she was taking drastic measures to lighten her skin, India Arie is issuing a response. As previously reported, India Arie was accused of bleaching her skin after a promo picture for her new single was released.
“Why is India Arie so light-skinned?” asked a fan on Twitter.
“Media pressures … next she’ll be donning weave,” responded another.
And while other celebs including Amerie, Nicki Minaj and Rihanna have remained mum on their bleaching rumors, Arie issued a response on social media.
