Analouisa Valencia, 19, came out as a lesbian to her parents when she was in the ninth grade. Initially, her dad was “furious” and her mom said, ” ‘Well, I don’t support it, but I love you so I’ll support you.”
“[My mother is] OK with [my sexuality] now, but it’s been a couple of years,” shared Valencia in a statement to press.
