K. Michelle quits ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’

Reality shows are full of bad girls but there’s always one girl in particular that just can’t seem to get along with her other cast mates. On “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta,” that girl has become hot blooded singer K. Michelle. She has admitted to fighting with every other cast member on the upcoming second season of the show. Keeping up with that kind of drama would drive anyone crazy but it looks like K. Michelle has already reached her limit and has quit the show.

In a new interview with ABC News Radio, K. Michelle confirmed her departure, saying that the show was no longer a healthy place for her to be.

“If I know something is unhealthy for me so why keep doing it?” K. Michelle said.

However, K. Michelle, who is moving to New York soon, explained that you may just see her on another famous Vh1 show in the future. “I’m not saying that I’m not dealing with other ventures with VH1 and Mona [Scott-Young, the creator]. …You might see me in ‘Love & Hip Hop New York.’ You never know,” she said.

There are also rumors that K. Michelle may be getting her own spin-off show, something that may add to the jealousy which she claims her cast mates have for her.

“I think it’s a lot of jealousy between my cast members and they can’t say it’s not,” she explained. “It’s not my fault that God didn’t give them any talent. That’s not my fault that you didn’t take your platform and do something else with it.”

One relationship in particular that has suffered is K. Michelle’s friendship with her former gal pal Mimi Faust, who she reportedly smacked with a bouquet of flowers after the two argued over K. Michelle’s gay allegations about Faust’s new boyfriend, Nikko. However, K. Michelle claims that she and Faust may just be on better terms now.

“You know I recently spoke with Mimi — I can’t give the show away — but I did apologize to her because at no means is it ever appropriate to slap somebody,” she said. “Especially with my mom being there and that being my first sold out show at B. B. King’s and that’s very monumental for an artist and for you to come to my event; I don’t do that. But I will take the responsibility … I should have just walked away from Mimi instead of making her smell the flowers.”

Well, we’re interested to see how K. Michelle will make her exit from the show and we’re definitely intrigued by the idea of her mixing it up with the “LHH” girls in New York. Check out some other major departures below. –nicholas robinson
