Hampton University’s graduates wore their colors with pride — Alpha Kappa Alpha, Zeta Phi Beta and Delta Sigma Theta’s wore kente stoles to represent their sororities this past weekend.

A few famous Deltas: Keshia Knight Pulliam, Dr. Nikki Giovanni, Aretha Franklin, Soledad O’Brien, Natalie Cole, Cicely Tyson, Ruby Dee, Lena Horne and Betty Shabazz.
A few famous Zetas: Zora Neale Hurston, Dionne Warwick, Towanda Braxton, Sheryl Underwood, Minnie Ripperton and Esther Rolle.
