No. 7 Check Your Head by the Beastie Boys (1992)

The Boys from Brooklyn had released two very important 1980s hip-hop albums, but in 1992, Ad Rock, Mike D and MCA did something rather unexpected:  they began playing instruments again. The former punk band decided to bridge their two worlds and crafted one of the most cohesive and uniquely entertaining rap-rock records ever made.
