Island limeade
Ingredients:
- 3 cups boiling water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/4 cups lime juice
- 6 ounces dark rum
Method:
Combine the boiling water and sugar to taste, together in a pitcher. Stir it until the sugar dissolves, then chill. Add the lime juice to make it a limeade. Fill four tall glasses with ice and divide the rum between them. Pour the limeade in the glasses to the top. For the non-alcoholic variation, don’t add the rum.
