P&G launched its largest sampling event ever on Wednesday, June 19 in New York City. The citywide event spanned from Harlem throughout New York City, with Hollywood stars Laz Alonso and Sanaa Lathan, among others making appearances at Washington Square Park South and Herald Square, respectively.

The pop-up command center, named the P&G Innovation Center, was located at 34th St. and 6th Avenue, and is where the event commenced at 9:45 a.m. with Vanessa Lachey, NY Giant Hakeem Nicks, and the Charmin Bears.
P&G distributed over 40,000 products samples from more than 25 brands including Cover Girl, Gillette, Duracell, Pampers, Old Spice, Iams, and Crest and offered pampering sessions, demonstrations, stylist tips, makeovers, photo opportunities and even surprise celebrity sightings.
