Shawn Custis, 42, has been arrested for the brutal attack on a Millburn, NJ mother. The savage attack was captured on a nanny cam. New York and New Jersey FBI agents collaboratively found him in the lobby of a building in Inwood, NY on 10th Avenue on Friday, June 28. Custis, who kicked in the dead bolted door of the mother’s home, is no stranger to burglaries. He was taken to the Essex County courthouse to be arraigned.
The incident took place last Friday while the Millburn mother was watching cartoons with her 3-year-old daughter and while her baby boy slept upstairs. The toddler watched as her mother was punched and kicked at least 16 times before being pushed down the basement stairs. She was treated for a concussion and bruises to her face and body. She also suffered with several chipped teeth and required stitches near her mouth.
