NFL legend Lawrence Taylor’s son has been arrested for rape in Cobb County, Ga. Lawrence Taylor Jr., 32, was arrested on July 7 and charged with statutory rape, aggravated child molestation and statutory aggravated sodomy.
Taylor Jr., who lives in Powder Springs, Ga., was arrested at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday on accusations by a girl under age 18, who says that Taylor Jr. “did with force spread her legs then pulled her bathing suit to the side and gave her oral sex,” on Saturday afternoon.
According to Georgia law unwanted oral sex is deemed aggravated sodomy.
A second girl described in court papers as “under 16 years old,” tells authorities she had sexual intercourse with Taylor Jr. “5 to 6 times” in February 2012, hence the statutory rape charge.
Taylor Sr. was arrested and charged with felony third-degree rape May 2010 after having sex with a 16-year-old female prostitute at the Holiday Inn Suffern in Montibello, N.Y. According to ESPN, Taylor Sr. pleaded guilty to sexual misconduct and patronizing a prostitute in a plea agreement. He was sentenced to six years’ probation.
