Earlier this week, terror struck the Raymond family when Usher and Tameka Raymond’s eldest son, Usher Raymond V, nearly drowned in a swimming pool accident. And although their son was miraculously saved, the live-saving moment was quickly overshadowed by news that Tameka had filed for custody of their sons. But now Tameka is reportedly claiming that was just a rumor and that she filed for custody months ago.
During their initial custody battle, Usher won primary custody of their two sons, Usher V and Naviyd, leaving Tameka with only limited visitation rights, much to her chagrin.
But according to sources for popular blogger B. Scott, Tameka had already begun working to modify custody rights after Usher won primary custody. The fact that Usher V nearly drowned during his parent’s custody battle was reportedly just a coincidence and had nothing to do with Tameka’s initial plans to regain custody of her sons.
However, the sources claim that Tameka has been granted temporary emergency custody of the former couple’s two sons in the wake of the drowning accident.
Well in any case, it’s apparent that the Raymond family has been through a lot already and yet there won’t be much peace for them until this custody battle is finally settled.
