Attorney Quanell X, the leader of the New Black Panther Party in Houston, has been appointed her defense attorney.
She faces being registered as a sex offender. Her mother doesn’t deny the incident could have happened, but she believes her daughter thought is was “horseplay” and was unaware that she was committing a crime.
