Ever since Lady Gaga first made her VMA debut in 2009 she’s always repped the LGBT. When she won her first major VMA, she dedicated her win to “God and the gays” and she has since sung “Born This Way” as a tribute to “the gays,” cross dressed as her male alter-ego, Jo Calderone, and been the face of pro-LGBT artists at subsequent VMAs.
