U.S.A.-based women’s wear and accessories fashion brand House of Versatile Styles gave back to the community with a runway fashion show hosted by Claudia Jordan of VH1’s “Tiny Tonight” talk show and NBC’s “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice.” The benefit helped raise money for Kids Clean Club Nigeria and Face Africa, which help to promote educational programs devoted to instill quality education and mentorship through scholarships. The partnership between the program and House of Versatile Styles has helped to donate uniforms and school supplies for underprivileged schoolchildren in Nigeria.
“HVS believes that it is essential to do everything within our power to change and improve the lives of the children around us. We want to make sure that our children are not stopped from going to school because they do not have uniforms or supplies. HVS is honored and privileged to be able to organize a platform to introduce ‘Kids Clean Club Nigeria’ to the international forefront,” said Bukola Are, HVS creative director and designer.
The fashion show and mixer were held at the Renaissance Hotel at Greenway Plaza in Houston and featured live music, silent auction and the debut of the VHS fall fashion collection and exclusive fabrics.
