A3C’s hip-hop blogger panel

As Atlanta’s 2013 A3C festival ticks on, panelists are continuing to dish out vital information to attendees looking to break into the music business. Most recently a bevy of hip-hop bloggers took to the fest to give firsthand accounts of being a member of the media in today’s industry.

On hand were writers Shaheem Reid of Life +Times, Julian Mitchell and Jayson Rodriguez of Revolt TV, as well as talent/brand manager Tiffany Hardin, Caddy of HipHopSince1987 and writer Rahman Dukes.

Reed dished on his history from XXL magazine to his current position, while Rodriguez explained to artists and aspiring writers the importance of breaking down interviews into clips to make it more attractive to your audience.

The panelists then fielded questions from the crowd and gave out their social media information.
