Questlove was just one of many DJs to grace the stage Sunday at the A3C Hip-Hop Festival’s “Best Block Party Ever” celebration. While damp with rain, partygoers enjoyed sounds from DJ Maseo of De La Soul, DJ Premier, Young Guru, Diamond D and DJ Scratch in Atlanta’s Old Fourth Ward neighborhood.

DJ Scratch put Serato-dependent disc jockeys to shame by spinning turntables at times with only finger while DJ Maseo gave the crowd his usual salutations and rocking the stage.

While hip-hop stars including Sha Stimuli, Forte Bowie (above), and 9th Wonder looked on, each DJ performed their set for the final day of the five-day fest.

Taking a break from his nighttime gig on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” Questlove deejayed songs from T.I., Kanye West and Jay Z over their original samples and artfully gave attendees a crash course in hip-hop history.
