A3C Rapper 612 FatBoy tied up and robbed at Atlanta Hilton hotel

Rapper 612 FatBoy

Rapper 612 FatBoy aka FatSauce came to town for the A3C Hip Hop Festival and got a lot more than he bargained for.

Officers responded to the 5:30am call at the Cortland St. Hilton Hotel on Sunday and found the rapper who told them that three armed males entered his room, tied him up and robbed him. The suspects stole approximately $7,000 in cash and $20,000 worth of jewelry, police said.

Being the second rapper to patronize and be robbed at Atlanta Hilton, raises the concern of rappers flashing jewelry and cash not only in real life, but in music and on social media.  While the idea of paying for a hood pass has always circulated in many urban cities across the US, it’s no secret that the gangster lifestyle has become an increasingly popular subculture in the past few years.

Does this mean that anyone earning bragging rights about their rich lifestyle is at a high level threat for being robbed? Are rappers the easiest targets for robbery?

No further information or suspects have been released, but take a look at some of the eye candy from 612 FatBoy that might make you feel some type of way.
