Kanye West to appear on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’

Kanye West and Jimmy Kimmel will have an opportunity to settle their feud face-to-face tonight (October 9th), as West is scheduled to appear on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” West was infuriated two weeks ago after Kimmel spoofed the hip-hop superstar’s recent BBC interview. After Kimmel aired the spoof on his show, Kanye went on a Twitter rant against the comedian and talk show host.

Kimmel had child actors re-enact Kanye’s interview, which set off the mercurial musician.

“You’re not gonna believe this, but he said a lot of weird stuff,” Kimmel said during a show monologue prior to debuting the spoof in late September. “He said he was the #1 rock star on the planet–whatever planet he’s on, and a lot of other great stuff about himself. Does Kanye West know you’re not supposed to be your own hype man? I don’t know if it’s a money-saving thing, but I like it.”

“Jimmy Kimmel is out of line to try and spoof in any way the first piece of honest media in years,” Kanye tweeted in response. “Jimmy Kimmel, I don’t take it as a joke … You don’t have scum bags hopping over fences trying to take pictures of your daughter.”

West subsequently deleted the tweets, but other rappers like 2 Chainz, Rick Ross and Pusha T shared their support of West, despite the fact that Kanye’s tweets only led to more derision and mocking from fans. “People just really need to understand that he’s really no nonsense,” explained Pusha in an interview. “He’s very passionate about everything he’s telling to the people. Nine times out of 10, he’s enlightening you or showing you the way. I feel like when someone makes light of it, he may take it to heart. I’m Team Kanye. I don’t really care about the other guy.”

But according to a tweet from Kimmel, Kanye will be on his show–and no, this was not all planned.
