Inaugural Music Atlanta Conference 2013 brings out industry leaders

Music Atlanta Conference 2013 (7) (1024x683)

The inaugural Music Atlanta Conference 2013 was a huge success and achieved its mission of bringing together writers, producers, artists and the business people behind the scenes who share the common goal of putting out quality music, predominantly in the R&B genre. MAC founder and visionary Kevin Shine beamed with pleasure at the closing night artist showcase as he and his team, led by Nicole Massiah and DJ Eddie F,  received accolades from the participants.

There were seminars, listening sessions, panels, Hit Makers Session (at Soul Asylum Studios) and a closing showcase (at Harlem Nights). Seminars included topics such as “Building Your Social Net Worth”; “Monetizing Your Music/Album Visibility with New Media Outlets”; and “Becoming a Hitmaker Forum.” A hallmark of this conference was the feedback from industry legends who shared with participants in a positive motivational manner so that all could improve their game.

Ian Burke, Shanti Das and Juanita Stephens were among the opening night honorees who were acknowledged for their many years of having a positive impact on the music business both locally and nationally.

Many new friends and business acquaintances were made during the three days of the conference. We hope to see you there next year!
