NFL’s Antonio Cromartie got a vasectomy at age 27 after fathering 10 kids

NFL: Pro Bowl-Ohana Day

After 10 kids and six baby mamas, Antonio Cromatie realized it was time to put his reproduction abilities to a stop. According to the book Collision Low Crossers: A Year Inside the Turbulent World of NFL Football, by Nicholas Dawidoff, the New York Jets All-Pro cornerback got a vasectomy in 2011 at age 27.

Cromartie made headlines during an episode of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” when he had trouble remembering the names of all of his kids. In 2012, several of his baby mothers attempted to create a reality show that would center around their large family.

However, Cromartie shot down the idea before the show could go into production.
