Stanley Stallworth, 50, is a partner at Sidley Austin LLP, a prominent, global law firm in downtown Chicago where he specializes in commercial real estate. Currently on a leave of absence, “to devote his full attention to addressing these charges,” Stallworth, along with his nephew, Therrie Miller, 22, have been accused of plying an 18-year-old with alcohol then sexually assaulting him on Thanksgiving Day at Stallworth’s Bronzeville neighborhood home.
The victim says he met Miller at a South Holland barbershop and was invited over to Stallworth’s home where he reportedly blacked out and woke up in the bathroom vomiting and lost consciousness several more times while struggling with Stallworth and Miller who were performing sex acts on him.
When he woke up the next morning, he was naked.
Here’s where it gets confusing, Miller drove the victim home. His mother took him to St. Margaret Hospital in Hammond, Ind., where a rape kit was performed.
Miller is a student at St. Xavier University student and works at Harris Bank.
Both were held on a $150,000 bond and will have their preliminary hearings a day after Christmas, on Thursday, Dec. 26.
