A teenager in Hanover, Pa. is facing theft charges after police found drugs and stolen jewelry in his rectum. According to ABC27 in Hanover, Christopher Scheller, 18 slid off a road and struck a tree while driving in early December.

When police arrived, they noticed that he was intoxicated. They took him to the hospital to be treated and doctors found suspicious items inside of Scheller after he was given an X-ray.

Initially, Scheller refused to sign a consent form that would allow the items to be removed. But after talks with police, Scheller signed the consent form and doctors found a bag of synthetic marijuana, a smoking device, four necklaces, four bracelets, and 11 rings in his rectum.

Police realized that he swallowed the items moments before they approached him after the accident. They believe he stole the items from a home during a burglary.

Scheller has been charged with theft, DUI and receiving stolen property.
