Apollo Nida arrested
Apollo Nida, the husband of real housewife Phaedra Parks, has been arrested in Atlanta. According to a complaint filed by the U.S. District Attorney’s Office, Nida turned himself in to authorities late Thursday to face charges of bank fraud and identity theft. U.S. District Judge Gerrilyn G. Brill released Nida on a pretrial bond earlier today.
In 2004 Nida served time in prison for breaking federal racketeering laws related to auto title fraud. He served just 5 years of his 18-years sentence. In 2009 he was released on parole and wed Parks later that year.
Earlier this week Nida appeared on an episode of Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” alongside Gregg Leakes, Todd Tucker and Peter Thomas.
