The ex-husband of real housewife Jacqueline Laurita was arrested in 2011 on charges of arson, insurance fraud and money laundering. Police alleged that Holmes started a fire in his two-story home for $429,000 in insurance money. Holmes was accused of spending the money on plastic surgery and a $40,000 diamond ring for his wife.
Laurita previously defended her ex in a “Real Housewives of New Jersey” blog noting that he passed a lie detector test related to the charges.
