Another celebrity custody battle goes sour when Tyrese Gibson’s ex-wife, Norma Mitchell, accuses the actor/singer of being in the streets more than spending quality time with their 6-year-old daughter.
As you may recall, Mitchell received a sizable alimony and child support settlement a few years ago, but now, she and her ex hubby have been butting heads over his alleged absence when it comes to their daughter Shayla.
In recent court documents filed by Mitchell, Norma states that the Fast and Furious franchise star ditched 6-year-old Shayla to pop bottles in Dubai for his 35th birthday with Maxwell and Will Smith.
After production stopped filming scenes for Fast & Furious 7, following the tragic passing of Paul Walker, Mitchell says that Gibson should have had more time for Shayla. Instead, Gibson decided to go “gallivanting throughout Dubai … staying in expensive hotels … partying on yachts, sky-diving with other movie stars, driving expensive cars, and making special appearances in night clubs.”
While Tyrese doesn’t deny an ounce of Mitchell’s claims, the 35-year-old actors claims that he traveled to Dubai on business (to help out with that alimony and child support).
While reports do state that Tyrese had four paying gigs during his stint in Dubai, we’re not convinced that his reasoning is enough for Mitchell. This could get ugly! – ruthie hawkins/@rubabie
