4 arrested in Hoffman heroin death
New York police arrested four people in connection with the overdose death of Philip Seymour Hoffman. Police arrested three men and one woman and seized over 350 stamp bags of suspected heroin.
At the time of Hoffman’s death, he was found to have over 50 small bags of heroin near his body. The heroin found in Hoffman’s apartment was not laced with fentanyl, the additive that has been responsible for numerous deaths.
Hoffman reportedly withdrew $1,200 from a nearby ATM machine and was later seen meeting with two men wearing bicycle messenger bags.
