Taalib Pecantte, age 7, was a terrific kid and promising athlete with the “Pop Warner” league  Compton Vikings who was killed by a hail of bullets.  Four people  have now been arrested in connection with his murder and one of them is a teenager.  Those arrested were Tradel Faniel, 28; Windell Faniel, 24; Paul Jamar, 19; and Danielle Peters, 31. All will be charged with murder.

The little boy’s father Abu Talib Hussain said in an interview, “I was just overwhelmed; it was a relief. The detectives on this case told me from the beginning of this case that we are going to make sure these individuals are brought to justice. They have fulfilled their promise.” The little boy was shot and killed while sitting in a parked car with his mother and a friend. The Los Angeles Police Department and the FBI arrested 3 men and a woman.


The father stated that before news of the arrest, (the family) was beginning to lose hope and praying that the killers of little Taalib would be brought to justice. Their prayers have been answered.
