With great malice, Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly and co-anchors of the FOX News show “The O’Reilly Factor” insulted black intelligence and noted Princeton University professor Dr. Eddie Glaude. Fox news called Dr. Glaude a “pinhead” and took video quotes out of context to demean not only the professor but also black America as a whole.
O’Reilly deliberately mispronounced Glaude’s name as “G-Lawdy” and made a joke of his first name stating “Whoever heard of a professor named Eddie?” as they all laughed. The topic being discussed was the effects of hip-hop lyrics on black kids and their upbringing. Glaude was explaining that the issues of black youth go much deeper than music lyrics. Dr. Eddie Glaude is a graduate of Morehouse College, Temple University and Princeton University and a respected author of scholarly work.
